Rhubarb and More

   Rhubarb Fest June 2010

Sheila & MaryAnne serve Rhubarb desserts

Best year ever!!  Unfortunately we ran out after an hour and left a few hungry buyers.  We have to make a LOT more next year.

Below:  Deston shares information with a videographer from the Rockford Register Star.  We were put on YouTube!!

We sell the best of our homemade rhubarb items including pies, cakes, breads, cookies and jam.  People waited in line for over an hour before our opening.

This is an annual event and our main fund raiser for the year.

Thank you to all who support us by contributing baked goods and those who come to buy.

Call 815-629-2210 for information on the 2011 event.

You may also order our Rhubarb Cookbook by sending the  payment along with $2.00 per book for shipping to:

Rockton Township Historical Society, PO Box 37, Rockton, IL 61072

The book is a combination of our past Volumes I and II plus a number of entirely new recipes.  The cost is $10.00 plus  $2.00 shipping per copy, if applicable.  If you need just the newest recipes, the cost is $2.00 plus shipping.

For further information, call 815-624-8200.
